When it comes to Juul and MyBlu, Juul is clearly the superior vape and here’s why.

For starters, the Juul device is actually a little more compact than the MyBlu. Not by much, but it is noticeable and given the rapidly depleting pocket space that we have in today’s world of hi-tech gizmos that fit in your pocket, wallets, and change, a subtle difference in size does indeed seem to go further than it used to. But seeing as they’re both easily compact enough to fit into just about any pocket, size isn’t really where these two vapes differentiate themselves from one another. Where they differ, and greatly at that, is in quality of delivery.

We could sit here and in a somewhat typical of vape reviews fashion, tell you all about how the battery life differs between these two e-cigs and all that, but that’s not what really defines these two vapes. What defines them is their delivery and when it comes to delivery, it’s the Juul that does it right.

Leak-Free Is The Way To Be

Can you imagine taking a draw off your e-cig and suddenly realizing that you have e-juice in your mouth? How about often? Like, if you’re a heavy user, try daily and multiple times a day at that. That’s what it’s like to use a MyBlu, or at least, that’s how it was when we tested a few out for ourselves. They leak and they don’t just do it a little bit here and there, which might be acceptable, they do it a lot and it’s just as awful and disgusting as it sounds. We don’t recommend it. That said, we don’t recommend the MyBlu. Why? Because all things aside, it leaks. The e-juice flavors, from our perspective, are comparable to the Juul’s flavors, and the vapor itself is similar in smoothness, density, and all that (different, but similar), but when it comes to actually using these two vapes, there’s only one that we enjoy and it’s the Juul. Why? Because unlike the MyBlu, it doesn’t leak in your mouth – or at least, not often.

The frequency at which Juuls leak is so low that we wouldn’t even say they leak. When they do, there’s something wrong. If you’re experiencing leaking, contact Juul Labs. Their customer service team should be able to help you about. But then again, there’s a chance it’ll never happen to you. That’s how infrequently it leaks. In other words, don’t even worry about it because it almost certainly will not be an issue. With the MyBlu on the other hand, if you don’t like the idea of e-juice leaking out of the cartridge and into your mouth, well, look for another vape — like the Juul.

The Flavors

We don’t want to dive too deep into comparing the different e-juice flavors that these two vapes offer in this comparison of these two vapes for a couple of reasons. For one, we see flavor perspective as more of a personal preference than anything and we’ve found that even among ourselves, our personal favorites differ from one person to the next. The other reason we don’t want to delve too deeply into the whole flavor comparison right now is due to the fact it’s rather likely that we’ll continue to see both Blu and Juul Labs introduce new e-juice flavors down the road and so there’s a reasonably good chance that our take on which vape company makes the better tasting e-juice could very well change. Subsequently, we’re going to opt out of comparing the e-juices made for these two vapes and instead tell you more about the actual quality of the vapor that these two vapes produce.

Vapor Quality Comparison

When it comes to vapor quality, both vapes are pretty close in what they consistently produce. They both offer satisfying plumes of vapor that are just harsh enough to get a nice throat hit while still retaining a nice smooth aspect. In other words, they’re both pleasant to hit, only the MyBlu sometimes leaks, which detracts greatly from our desire to use it. In fact, it’s so bad, we don’t use it. We use Juuls instead. And yeah, they really are that much better. Perhaps this has something to do with why Blu was (perhaps still) offering MyBlus for $1 as part of a trial offer. But if you ask us, we’d rather save that dollar and buy a proper vape that doesn’t leak while it’s in use.

Final Consensus

The Juul is better. It’s hardly a comparison given the major design flaw that allows MyBlu vapes to regularly leak in your mouth. The one drawback from our perspective with the Juul’s design, which is actually shared by both vapes, is the inability to allow customers to use the vape juice of their choosing, such as a third-party vape juice — this as a result of both vapes being designed to work exclusively with their own proprietary cartridges, which come prefilled and are not designed to be refilled. But for those who are content with the limitations of being restricted to the e-juices offered by Juul Labs, the Juul vapes make for excellent nicotine delivery systems. It’s easy to see why they’re the most popular in the United States, they’re awesome.
