The Volcano — of which there are two versions, Classic and Digital (Digit) — is an ultra high-end desktop vaporizer made in Germany. The portable version of it does not exist. But that’s not to say that there isn’t a portable vaporizer made by the same manufacturer because there is. In fact, there are two – the Crafty and the Mighty. While neither offer the balloon filling vapor delivery method that the Volcano vaporizers are well known for, the quality of both vaporizers is nothing short of what you might expect from the world renown Storz & Bickel company. Mighty Vaporizer
The Mighty vape is one of the best portable vaporizers on the market in terms of vapor quality. As far as size goes, it’s one of the worst. But its vapor production, ease of use, and features more than make up for its larger than average size. But even still, there’s at least one aspect that proves to be a setback for its would-be buyers and that’s its price tag. The cost of the Mighty, even though it has been reduced by $100 by its manufacturer, is still high as far as portable vaporizer price tags go. But for those who can look passed the large size and the high price tag, this is one of the best portables available. Can’t look passed its faults? We suggest taking a look at the Crafty instead.
Crafty Vaporizer
The Crafty is extremely similar to the Mighty, only it’s more compact and less expensive. Also made by Storz & Bickel, this portable uses the same heating element as the Mighty, which allows it to produce some of the best vapor of any portable. But not everything is the same – the Crafty is actually quite a bit smaller (more compact) than its cousin, the Mighty. In order to pull this off, it ditches the digital temperature controls seen in the Mighty and replaces them with an app. For those who need their temperature controls built directly into the vape, readily accessible at all times, the Crafty’s temperature controls are not a good fit. But for those who don’t mind using an app to control the vaping temp, it’s great. Basically a smaller version of the Mighty that more or less works just as well. And like the Mighty, it has the ability to vaporize dry blends, liquids, waxes, and oils. So no matter what you’ve got, it can handle it.
