It has a removable ceramic chamber, stainless steel lid, multiple heat settings with the option to program your own, a retractable mouthpiece, and adjustable airflow. While it’s currently being touted by one vape reviewer as the best new portable vaporizer, the one we’ve all been waiting for, those of us here at Vaporizer Shark have yet to test it and are subsequently offering this preview which will eventually be updated to reflect our findings once we’ve reviewed it. Until then, we suggest taking a look at some of the other top rated portable vaporizers we’ve reviewed here on our site, which you can see here. “…smooth, cool, potent, and delicious.”

SPEED REVIEW (SUMMARY)

The Ghost MV1 vaporizer by Ghost Vapes is a fast cooling, fast heating portable designed to support all types of blends. From dry to concentrate, it does it all. With a user-replaceable battery, customizable temperature, multiple preprogrammed heat settings, and a reasonable price tag, this is one vape that you won't want to miss. We'll update this review summary once we've had a chance to thoroughly test this vape so check back soon to learn whether or not it's worth buying.

Temperature

The MV1’s newly designed diffuser is allegedly capable of even distribution of heat, which results in even vaporization of blends inserted. No charred material and no need to stir the blend during your sessions. In total, it offers six temperature settings that are preprogrammed into it. Five of which are intended for dry blends and only one of which, the highest setting, is intended for concentrates. And in addition to these six temperature settings, users can sync their smartphones to the vape using its app to conveniently unlock and program the two custom heat settings that it offers, allowing for a fully customizable vaporizing experience. According to one account, it’s more than capable of maintaining the blend’s flavor profile as it offers some of the purist vapor available – little to no distortion in taste.

To change the temperature, you simply use the main power button to cycle through the programmed temperatures. Once it’s in standby mode and ready for use, simply hold it down and it’ll jump into the temperature control mode. At which point, you can simply click it to cycle through the different temperature settings. When you’re ready to vape, simply press and hold the black button located on the back of the vaporizer to engage its heating element.

Heat Up Time

This new Ghost Vapes vaporizer is designed to provide just one draw at a time, which can last up to 15 seconds. It is our understanding that it heats up on demand and that it cools down quickly, keeping the blend from being vaporized while it’s not in use. At this time, the exact heat up time remains a mystery to us so check back soon for more information as we update this review.

Battery Life

MV1 is powered by a high-capacity battery pack that contains not one, but two large battery cells that are capable of providing over 100 draws per charge and take around 2.5 hours to fully recharge, assuming a wall charger is used as opposed to the micro-USB charging option that it also offers.

To check the battery life, simply press and hold the power button for 2 seconds and the vape will show you roughly how much juice is left. Three bars means its full, two bars means it’s running out, and one bar means it’s almost time to throw it back on the charger.

Taking a hint from the vape mod sector, Ghost Vapes designed their new MV1’s battery to be user-replaceable. This means that you can swap it out for a fully charged battery pack when it’s getting low to continue vaping without the need to place it back on the charger first.

Weight & Size

The MV1 Ghost is about the size of Storz & Bickel’s Crafty, only a bit taller. In other words, it’s pretty far from the most compact of the portables. Check back soon for the exact dimensions and weight.

Problems

We are currently unaware of any issues with this vape, however, we intend on updating this section once we know more. Check back soon to find out if the MV1 has any problems or if it truly is the next best vape.

Cleaning & Maintenance

While cleaning can be quite the hassle, Ghost Vapes designed the MV1 with this in mind. Subsequently, they ensured that all of its internal components can be quickly and easily accessed, making it relatively easy to clean and maintain.

Warranty

Ghost Herbal Concepts, the company behind Ghost Vapes, provides a limited manufacturer’s warranty that protects the MV1 against defects in material and craftsmanship for 2 years. Those who register their vape with the company through its app or via their website will automatically have their warranty coverage extended from 2 years to 5 years. For those who pickup the MV1’s Spare Battery Pack accessory, the pack is covered by a separate 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty.

Vapor Quality

The quality of the MV1’s vapor is reportedly smooth, cool, potent, and delicious. In addition, it offers virtually no draw resistance so there’s none of that sucking-through-a-pencil sensation seen with some of the other vaporizers that are out today.

Final Thoughts

We’ll update this section once we’ve had a chance to properly test this vape for ourselves. So check back soon to find out whether or not the Ghost MV1 is really worth your money or if it’s just another Crafty-sized vape that doesn’t rise to the challenge.
