Similarities
These two vapes, being siblings of sorts, unsurprisingly share quite a few similarities between them. They’re both portable (cordless), battery powered, rechargeable, and support all types of blends. But the similarities don’t end there as they both utilize convection to produce vapor, take approximately 2 hours to recharge, and have adjustable temperature ranges that span from 104°F to 410°F. In addition, their filling chambers (ovens) are capable of holding the same amount of blend (1.4 cm³), their airflow (draw resistance) is identical (10 l per minute), and they both have built in cooling units used to cool their vapor. Lastly, they both have automatic shutoff timers and vibration-style alerts. But that’s where the similarities end. Now here’s what different.
Differences
While both vapes have temperature controls that allow for the vaping temperature to be customized by the user, the Crafty doesn’t have any built-in temperature controls and instead relies on an app that’s synced to the vape, allowing the temperature to be adjusted. The Mighty on the other hand has built-in digital controls complete with a large LED display and two big temperature adjustment buttons that are located to the sides of the display.
Whereas the Crafty runs on just one lithium-ion battery, the Mighty is powered by two – offering that much more vape time before it needs to be recharged. But with this additional battery life comes some sacrifice in the form of portability, as the Mighty is noticeably larger than the Crafty.
The Mighty is 1.2 inches taller, 1 inch wider, and 95 grams heavier. In other words, it’s larger and heavier even though it’s actually slightly thinner. Here are the exact dimensions and weight of both vapes:
- Mighty = 230 grams / 5.5″ x 3.2″ x 1.2″
- Crafty = 135 grams / 4.3″ x 2.2″ x 1.3″
Outside of this, the only other real difference between the two is the price. While both are relatively expensive in comparison to most other portables, the Crafty is actually the less expensive and more affordable of the two.
Which One Is Right For You?
Given the dimensions of the two vapes, the Crafty is clearly the more portable of the two. In fact, the Mighty is so big that we have difficulty thinking of it as a portable. While it does fit in a bag, purse, or large pocket, it’s really more of a cordless home-use portable. The Crafty, while smaller, isn’t all that pocket-friendly itself. But for what they lack in portability, they more than make up for in vapor production as they are quite literally the best vapor producers of all the portable vaporizers we’ve tested. With that said, if you’re more concerned with portability and price than you are with built-in temperature controls and battery life, the Crafty is the obvious choice. But if you don’t mind sacrificing a bit of portability for the sake of superior temperature controls, a slightly better cooling unit, and extended battery life, then it’s the Mighty all the way.

These both look kind of stupid but everyone seems to think that they’re the best thing since grilled cheese. Are they really that good?
Looks aside, they’re both incredible. Very strong vapor production and very easy to use (the Mighty more so than the Crafty). Pretty much on par with what we’ve come to expect from Storz & Bickel at this point: hi-quality from top to bottom. Awesome vapes – seriously, they’re that good.
