Who Makes The Volcano?
As we noted above, the Volcano is made by none other than Storz & Bickel. But this answer leaves the question, who is Storz & Bickel and what do they do? Storz & Bickel, which was founded in 2002, is a vaporizer manufacturer based in Germany. They are the first vape manufacturer in the world to meet the requirements for manufacturing medical devices. What Is The Volcano Vaporizer?
The Volcano is not a single vaporizer, but actually two vaporizers: the Classic and the Digit. The latter of which is our preferred home vaporizer. The Classic, the one that came out first, is the balloon vape that helped jump start the vaping revolution at a time when many were questioning the viability of vaporizers as alternatives to smoking. Years after it came out, its maker came out with an updated version, a better version: the Digit. This is the digital version that, instead of a simple dial that turn to adjust the vaping temp, employs a large display and buttons used to change the temperature. Instead of the guesswork that the Classic entails, it offers the accuracy of a digital temperature control system. But this doesn’t really explain what a Volcano Vaporizer is so to quote ourselves, a Volcano “is a German-made desktop vaporizer that uses a balloon as its vapor delivery medium.” By using convection, it creates vapor which is pushed into a balloon by an internal fan. Once in the balloon, the vapor is sealed away behind a valve built directly into its mouthpiece. When the mouthpiece is pushed against the mouth, the valve is opened, allowing the vapor to flow freely to the user. With extremely low draw resistance, incredibly potent vapor, and what is the most convenient method of delivering vapor that we’ve come across, it’s easy to see why it’s one of our highest rated vaporizers of all time.
