The Arizer Air 2 vaporizer, one of our favorite portables, uses a rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery, which is more or less the standard battery used in modern vape mods. And like many of today’s vape mods, it’s designed to be replaced by the user – quickly and easily.

Battery Life

Arizer Air 2 Vaporizer And Battery
This is the Air 2 seen alongside its powerful 18650 lithium-ion battery. Easy to recharge and easy to replace, plus you can buy replacements and backups just about anywhere thanks to its standard 18650 design.

This is likely why a lot of you are reading this (because you’re interested in finding out how long the Arizer Air 2’s battery lasts before it needs to be recharged or changed out for a fresh one). The answer isn’t necessarily going to be the same for everyone as it depends on what temperature you vape on, however, on the highest possible temperature that the vaporizer is capable of, we’ve found a single battery to last for at least 1 hour and 20 minutes. Not bad at all and considering you can swap it out for a fresh one at any time, it’s more than enough juice to last the day. For us, this translates into about 7 to 8 sessions per battery. How long it lasts for you depends on how long your sessions run and what temperature you run them on.

Replacing The Battery

When your battery runs out of juice, all you have to do is unscrew the bottom cap on the vape, pop out the dead one, and insert a new one. It literally takes a matter of seconds, not even minutes, to swap a cached battery for a fresh one.

Recharging

In order to recharge the battery, you have two options: plug the vape in via its micro-USB charging cord to charge the battery in it or use an external battery charger. While we use both options, our preferred method has to be the external charger, as ours allows us to charge multiple batteries at the same time – making it easy for us to maintain a constant rotation of fresh batteries.

Where To Buy Batteries

You can buy backup and replacement batteries for the Arizer Air II from this online store. You can also buy them from your local vape shop, as the 18650 is, as we previously noted, a battery that is quite common to the world of vape mods. We suggest buying at least a couple in addition to the one that it comes with in order to ensure that it’s always ready to go when you are.
